I had the honor of sharing some of my life with our ladies in the women's ministry at Urbancrest Church in Lebanon, Ohio in October, 2017.
Our "Rejuvenate" luncheon meets on the second Friday of each month. If you are in the area you are welcome to join us.
October
is Breast Cancer Awareness month, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
and Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month and when my thoughts all made it onto a notepad it dawned on me that I had experienced each in this lifetime of mine.
Here is what I shared that day. With Youtube time restrictions my wordiness had to be broken into shorter time segments.
PART 1
"I
am a caffeinechocoquiltcraftbargainfabricholic"
PART 2
"caught in the 1964 measles epidemic"
PART 3
" things are different from a few months ago when I was first asked to speak.
The last six months have been heartbreaking since my 2 year old great, granddaughter, Charlotte, was diagnosed with leukemia. Lots of prayer, lots of tears, lots of sleepless nights. She is in remission now in her second round of intense chemo. "
PART 4
"For Such A Time As This"
I have faith and hope in my God for Charlotte to be completely healed. She has had 3 harrowing events that God has brought her through and I believe He will continue His work in her and in all those around her including me.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Phil 1:6
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Luke 11:9
Please pray for our Charlotte Ann-thank you.
God bless you.
Carolyn Wainscott
