Monday, November 3, 2014, Day 28
Today, let's be in pray for:
~the leaders, churches and Christians of Guam and Midway Islands
~ candidates for public office, that they would be moved by God to seek what is honorable, just and moral.
~[tomorrow is election day]
"You can read all the manuals on prayer and listen to other people pray, but until you begin to pray yourself you will never understand prayer. It's like riding a bicycle or swimming: You learn by doing."
May God bless and keep you and all yours today

Yesterday, Lauren Hill, had her answer to one of her prayers. She got to participate in a college basketball game. In case you haven't heard, she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and unless God intervenes, only has a short time left because the doctors have done what they can. Her story has gone "viral" and she has become the face for this type of cancer. Her courage is a great example for never giving up.
She made the first and last baskets of the game using her non dominant hand since the cancer has affected the use of her right side. She could only play for a few minutes. She was honored with two awards-one by Pat Summitt, retired basketball coach who is dealing with altzheimers.
If you have an extra minute or two today, please pray for this young, 19 year old woman and her family.
