Tuesday, October 28, 2014, Day 22
Today let's be in prayer for:
~the leaders, churches and Christians of South Dakota and Tennessee
~an increasing spirit of unity in the Body of Christ across America
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John 17:20-23
"Our prayers lay down the track on which God's power can come. Like a mighty locomotive, His power is irresistible, but it cannot reach us without rails.
-Watchman Nee

I am especially in prayer this morning for a grand nephew to turn his life around and for God's leading in his life and for a baby girl, who is less than a month old who has been abused by her father. She may be permanently handicapped.

-even though we are not together physically, we are gathered together in His name spiritually and Jesus is in our midst

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Matt 18:18-20
