Today let's be praying for:
~the leaders, churches and Christians of Ohio and Oklahoma
~a spiritual awakening across the nation,that the Gospel would be communicated across the full spectrum of American society and that people of all ages, races and backgrounds would be drawn to Christ and receive his life and salvation.
"Prayer will make a man cease from sin, or sin will entice a man to cease from prayer."

16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

and, yesterday, still another devastating school shooting, what in the world is going on?? a freshman, a good kid, football player, popular-only 14 or 15 years old. walked into the cafeteria, shot and killed a friend, critically wounded several others then turned the gun on himself.
I include these news bits to mark what is going on at the time-I have great, grandchildren attending school. My grandchildren are all in the work force. This is the climate that we need to be in prayer for.
